In IBM® Cognos® Controller Financial Analytic
Publisher you can view log information about the status of the data
mart and the source.
This allows you to keep track
of every task that is performed.
For troubleshooting purposes,
you can look at the file "error.log", which is located in the FAP
service base directory. The file "error.log" contains history.
Procedure
- Click the Logs tab.
- Under Filter, select the filter
options:
- Type - you can specify log information
type: Any, Log, Source and Data
Mart.
- Object - you can specify which objects
you want to see the log information about.
- Severity - you can specify severity level: Any
Severity, Info, Error and Critical
Error.
- Page size - you can specify a page size
of 50, 100, 500 or 1000.
- On the View menu, click Refresh to
update the log.
- If you want to update the log information automatically,
select the Update automatically check box.
