Defining service settings

Service settings allow you to manage factors that might have an impact on performance and disk space.

You can modify how often the different service settings should be run by using the Service Settings tab.

Procedure

  1. In the IBM Cognos Controller Financial Analytics Publisher window, click the Service Settings tab.
  2. From the Clock Interval list, select how long the interval should be between each time the service is run.
  3. From the Log file items for list, select how often the log table is purged in the FAP database.
  4. From the Trickle tables purge every list, select how often the xdbtrickle table is purged.
  5. Restart the FAP Service to implement the new service setting changes.
