Getting started

To get started using IBM® Cognos® Controller Financial Analytics Publisher (FAP), you need to provide information about the database type, service settings, the source, the data marts, and the log.

There are two ways to configure FAP:

Configure using Controller Web. For more information, see FAP web configuration.
Configure using FAP Client. For more information, see below.

Note: You can define only one Cognos Controller database in the same FAP Client. Similarly, you cannot use FAP to publish to more than one datamart.
