Changing the file size limit for data/journal import

A new File size limit screen is added to set the upload file size of data/journal import and journal attachments. This screen is accessible only to the user who has the permission to edit the general configuration in Classic.

To access the File size limit screen, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Cognos Controller Web.
2. Click the Administration icon
   The new Web portal dashboard opens.
3. Click File size limit.
   The File size limit screen is displayed.

   Note: The File size limit screen can also be accessed from the Administration menu.

   For the File size limit screen, following are the default values:

   • Journal/Import data – 25 MB
   • Journal Attachments – 1 MB

   Note: For the journal attachments the maximum upload size is 5 MB.
