Creating a Secure Connection Between the Event Repository and Dynamically Discovered Servers

If you need to encrypt your information, create a secure connection for event processing between the IBM® Sterling Control Center Monitor event repository and dynamically discovered servers, such as IBM Global High Availability Mailbox.

Creating a secure connection with encrypted information can decrease the performance of IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor. You can also create an non-secure connection if there is an internal network with a firewall. After you create the secure or non-secure connection, you need to configure authentication for event processing.
