Global Mailbox considerations

You need to be aware of these considerations when you monitor Global Mailbox servers and data centers with IBM® Control Center Monitor.

• Messages IDs that are related to Global Mailbox are started with GM. You can set up rules that are associated with Global Mailbox messages and trigger actions as needed.
• The following messages are received when the Global Mailbox server is started. It does not mean that Aspera® or WebSphere® MQ has been connected:
  • GMASP0001I: Global High Availability Mailbox Server has started and will connect to Aspera at a later point.
  • GMWMQ0002I: Global High Availability Mailbox Server has started and will connect to Websphere MQ at a later point.
