Dashboard

Click Dashboard to get insight into the health and performance of managed Connect:Direct servers in your environment.

Data that you view on the Dashboard depends on what your role is and how you have configured your Control Center Director instance.
Note: Your user role and rights also determine what displays on your dashboard. For example, if you are a restricted user, the Environment Overview displays a pie chart visualization of assets assigned to you, by environment.

When Connect:Direct server roster is imported or servers are dynamically discovered

The landing page displays Dashboard tab on the Control Center Director navigation panel with metrics and message broadcast information as segments or panels.
  • Job status panel that displays your overall deployment health status. You can also Create Job if you have access rights.
  • Environment Overview that displays status in three different panels:
    • Number of Connect:Direct nodes by environment type available in your deployment
    • Live online-offline status of the servers and Agent. You can also Add Server if you have access rights.
    • Number of servers on its latest package, servers for which the package update is available and the servers of unknown status.
  • Broadcast panel displays brief yet important alert messages for Control Center Director Web Console users.

Zero State view when Server Roster is not available

  • When no Server Roster data is available in your deployment, the landing page displays the zero-state view on Dashboard. The zero-state view also displays three panels, Environment view, Job status, and Broadcast messages.
  • Since there is no data available to be monitored yet, the panels display recommended steps an Administrator must complete to get started.
