Customizing the Completed file transfers and Completed processes views
As an IBM® Sterling Control Center Monitor Administrator, you can customize the Completed file transfers view and the Completed processes view to include columns that are meaningful to you. The views that you customize display in the IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor web console for all users.
When you customize fields for a particular server type, those fields are displayed only when you
are viewing completed file transfers or completed processes for that type of server. When you are
viewing file transfers or completed processes for a mixed set of server types, the fields that are
displayed in the views are governed by the fields in Defaults for all server
types.
Attention: When you customize fields for the Completed
processes view, the Queued processes view is also affected. However,
the default fields for the views are different.
To see the user-defined fields that you mapped
for a particular server type, you must select that server type in the filter. If you leave the
default filter option with all server types selected, the fields that are displayed are governed by
Defaults for all server types. For example, to view fields specific to Sterling Connect:Direct®, clear all check boxes in the
filter and then select only Sterling Connect:Direct. The view displays only Sterling Connect:Direct file transfers or processes and
includes data from the mappings that you customized for Sterling Connect:Direct. Tip: The user-defined fields, or tags, that you customized and mapped to events and data
in those events are available for selection when you are customizing views.
To see the custom view changes immediately, log off then log in to the IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor web console. You can also go to or . Then, expand the Completed processes or caret, and deselect then reselect Select all.
