Changing system settings

If you have privileges to do so, you can change any of the system settings.

To change system settings:
  1. Take one of the following actions:
    • Select IBM Control Center Monitor > System Settings.This will redirect to IBM Control Center Web Console > System Settings.
    • From IBM Control Center Monitor Web Console , click Menu Button (Menu button, which contain system settings, placed at the extreme right hand side of the screen) > System Settings.
  2. To change database settings , click Database from left hand-side navigation panel. Click Update when you complete the changes.
  3. To view the email connection settings currently configured, click Email Server from the left hand-side navigation panel. Click Update when you complete the changes.
  4. To change the SNMP Hosts settings, click SNMP Hosts from the left hand-side navigation panel and change the values.
  5. To view the log file name, click Logs from the left hand-side navigation panel.
  6. To change the simultaneous pollers setting, click Services from the left hand-side navigation panel.
  7. To view the ports that are used to connect to the IBM® Sterling Control Center Monitor engine, click Engine Connection from the left hand-side navigation panel
  8. To change the default values for the console settings, click Console from the left hand-side navigation panel. You can change the following settings:
    • Default Console Auto Refresh System Setting in seconds
    • Default Timeout values
  9. To change File Agent settings, click File Agent from the left hand-side navigation panel
  10. Click Update when you complete the changes.
