Changing system settings
If you have privileges to do so, you can change any of the system settings.
To change system settings:
- Take one of the following actions:
- Select IBM Control Center Monitor > System Settings.This will redirect to IBM Control Center Web Console > System Settings.
- From IBM Control Center Monitor Web Console , click Menu Button (
) > System Settings.
- To change database settings , click Database from left hand-side navigation panel. Click Update when you complete the changes.
- To view the email connection settings currently configured, click Email Server from the left hand-side navigation panel. Click Update when you complete the changes.
- To change the SNMP Hosts settings, click SNMP Hosts from the left hand-side navigation panel and change the values.
- To view the log file name, click Logs from the left hand-side navigation panel.
- To change the simultaneous pollers setting, click Services from the left hand-side navigation panel.
- To view the ports that are used to connect to the IBM® Sterling Control Center Monitor engine, click Engine Connection from the left hand-side navigation panel

To change the default values for the console settings, click Console
from the left hand-side navigation panel. You can change the following settings:
- Default Console Auto Refresh System Setting in seconds
- Default Timeout values
- To change File Agent settings, click File Agent from the left hand-side navigation panel
- Click Update when you complete the changes.
