Setting up IBM Control Center Monitor to monitor Sterling Secure Proxy servers

IBM® Control Center Monitor can monitor the status and activity of Sterling Secure Proxy servers through a WebSphere® MQ instance.

IBM Control Center Monitor reads messages that Sterling Secure Proxy publishes to an instance of IBM MQ that belongs to Sterling Secure Proxy.

To monitor Sterling Secure Proxy, you need to configure the IBM MQ instance, the Sterling Secure Proxy Configuration Manager, and IBM Control Center Monitor.

If you have a version of SSP that supports posting OSA events to ICC configure it to do so, otherwise, configure it to send events to MQ.
