This implementation scenario provides a glimpse into the planning process for a fictitious, mid-sized bank in the United States. The bank plans to use IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor to gain greater visibility into the condition of their Sterling Connect:Direct® and Sterling B2B Integrator servers. They want to know their data flow status and information about their file transfers.

As part of their planning process, the bank identified objectives such as the following for IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor:
