How can I know when a Sterling Connect:Direct Process goes in the Held in Error Queue?

You can configure a rule to trigger an alert when a Sterling Connect:Direct® Process is placed in the Hold Queue after it received an error.

For a rule to trigger when a Sterling Connect:Direct Process is placed in the Hold Queue after it received an error (status = HE, Held in Error), perform the following tasks:

  1. Specify a parameter with the following settings:
    Key Operator Value
    Message Id Matches CNCD061I
  2. Values for Servers and Server Groups and additional parameters can be specified to make this rule more specific if wanted.

When this rule is associated with an action that issues the Sterling Connect:Direct Release Process command, whenever IBM® Sterling Control Center Monitor finds a Sterling Connect:Direct Process is moved to the Hold Queue with an HE status, it tells the managed server to release it to run again.
