When you are working from a Console or from a command line,
you can stop the engine and disconnect all Consoles.

Monitor checks
to make sure that you have permission to issue a shutdown request
before initiating shutdown. The following procedure gives instructions
for stopping the engine and disconnecting Consoles:

To stop the engine and disconnect all Consoles from the Console, click and click OK.

To stop only the Console, click .

To stop only the engine on a Microsoft
Windows computer, click , then right-click the IBM Sterling Control Center
Monitor V6.2 Engine program, and
click Stop.

- Run either installation directory\bin\stopEngine.bat (Microsoft Windows) or installation
directory/bin/stopEngine.sh (UNIX).
- Supply your IBM Sterling Control Center
Monitor user
ID and password when prompted.
