Configuring IBM Global High Availability Mailbox to publish events to IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor

You need to configure IBM® Global High Availability Mailbox so that it can publish events to IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor.

The default connection is non-secure. If you want to create a secure connection and enable authentication between Global Mailbox and IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor, see Creating a secure connection between the event repository and dynamically discovered servers.

To configure Global Mailbox to publish events to IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor:

  1. Stop the IBM WebSphere® Liberty Profile Server of Global Mailbox.
  2. On the Global Mailbox server, go to the shared directory/config/global.properties directory.
  3. Enter com.ibm.mailbox.controlcenter.event.url as http://jetty_hostname:http_port/sccwebclient/events.
  4. Start the IBM WebSphere Liberty Profile Server of Global Mailbox.
