How can I allow all users to view a calendar but only one user to update the calendar?

You can allow all users to view a calendar and restrict updates to one user with the Calendar Properties Permissions tab.

  1. Select This Calendar is visible to all users on the Permissions tab of the calendar.
  2. Specify the role of the user you want to be able to update the calendar in the Selected Restricted Roles.
    Restriction: Do not assign the role to any other user.
  3. Update the Calendar Properties.
