Monitoring File Agents
If a monitored Sterling Connect:Direct® server has associated file agents set up to submit processes to it, you can monitor those file agents if the certain conditions have been met.
If a monitored Sterling Connect:Direct server has associated file agents set up to submit processes to it, you can monitor those file agents if the following conditions have been met:
- The Sterling Connect:Direct server's connections setting does not have “Do not monitor associated File Agents” selected.
- The Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent system setting for the engine has been configured properly.
- The Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent has
been configured to send traps to IBM® Sterling Control Center
Monitor properly.
You can only monitor completed activity, not queued activity.
To monitor completed activity for a file agent associated with a managed Sterling Connect:Direct server:
- In the node tree on the IBM Sterling Control Center Monitor main window, right-click the Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent icon.
- Select Completed Sterling Connect:Direct File Agent Activity.
