If you have AFP documents on your IBM Content Manager OnDemand repositories,
you must install the AFP2PDF conversion tool on the IBM Content Navigator
server and configure the web client to support the AFP2PDF conversion viewer. You can choose from
the legacy PDF transform or define your own custom transform by using the IBM Content Navigator
administration tool.
Before you begin
Before you can configure the web client to support the AFP2PDF
conversion viewer, you must install the AFP2PDF conversion tool on
the IBM Content Navigator server.
If you do not have the AFP2PDF conversion tool installed, contact
your IBM representative for
information on obtaining and installing the AFP2PDF conversion tool.
Procedure
To configure the AFP2PDF conversion viewer:

Open the administration tool in the web client.

Click .

In the AFP2PDF installation directory field,
specify the directory where the AFP2PDF conversion tool is installed.

Click Save.

For each repository that includes AFP documents, you must
specify the location of the AFP2PDF configuration file that you want
to use for the repository:

Click Repositories and select
the repository that you want to configure.

In the AFP2PDF configuration file field,
enter the fully qualified path of the AFP2PDF configuration file for
this repository. The configuration file must be on the web application
server.
- Specify whether you want the AFP2PDF viewer to use the legacy PDF transform (Legacy) or
define your own custom transform (Generic). The transform that you select is also used for AFP
documents when using the download as PDF action, send as PDF action, and printing with the Daeja
print service.
If you specify the Generic transform, you must
enter a transform name. The transform name you enter must be defined in the custom transform file
that is specified in the OnDemand repository settings.
