Planning, installing, and configuring IBM Content Navigator

IBM® Content Navigator is easy to use. You can customize and deploy a web client for content management. IBM Content Navigator provides users with a web console for working with content that is stored on IBM Content Manager, IBM Content Manager OnDemand, or IBM FileNet® Content Manager repositories.

You should be familiar with one or more of the following operating systems:
  • AIX®
  • Linux®
  • Linux for System z®
  • Microsoft Windows
In addition, to install and deploy IBM Content Navigator, you should be familiar with the following products and technologies:
  • WebSphere® Application Server or WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment
  • Oracle WebLogic Server
  • Web application security
  • One or more of the following content management systems:
    • IBM Content Manager
    • IBM Content Manager OnDemand, including Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit
    • IBM FileNet P8, including Content Platform Engine
  • System operation and network administration
  • Database administration
  • IBM FileNet P8 users only.LDAP server administration
