Address any data input errors and proceed to the next step in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool. Use the following table to help you resolve the problem:Resolutions for common
problems in configuring Process Engine in
the IBM Content Navigator Configuration
and Deployment Tool.
| Problem | Resolution |
|---|---|
| The IBM Content Navigator region is not initialized. | Use the Process Configuration Console to initialize the region. |
| The specified administrator user name does not have the correct permissions to run the task. | Ensure that the specified administrator is both a Content Engine administrator and a Process Engine administrator. |
| The Process Engine client
files that are installed on the IBM Content Navigator server do not match
the version of the files that are installed on the Process Engine server. This mismatch can happen because IBM Content Navigator installations download the most recent Process Engine client files, which might not match the version of the files that are installed on your existing Process Engine server. |
On the IBM Content Navigator server, run the Process Engine client installation program. Use the version of the Process Engine client installation program that matches your version level of the Process Engine. |
| The Process Engine client connector files on the IBM Content Navigator are not updated to the correct version. The prerequisite task to update the Process Engine client connector files was not completed. | Update the Process Engine client connector files, close the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, and then restart it for the tool to detect the new versions of the files. |
Tip: You can confirm that you provided the correct
information by verifying that the Process Engine connection point list
is populated with a list of connection points.
Tip: In
the Protocol list, HTTP is
selected by default. If you change the protocol to HTTPS,
ensure that you update the port number.
