Documents without content

It is possible in IBM Content Cortex to create documents that have no content, and only metadata. The IBM FileNet Collaboration Services client applications do not support documents without content.

Client applications can view and manage any such documents that are visible in a library. A content upload operation will create a new content element. A content download operation will return a zero-byte download, the same as if the document had a single, empty content element.
