Compound documents
In IBM Content Cortex, a compound document is a collection of files that are used together to form a single complete document. A parent document, which may or may not contain content, is associated with multiple child documents, each with their own content and metadata. Compound documents are not supported by the client applications.
Users viewing libraries in a Content Cortex object store can see compound documents that were created by other Content Cortex applications in a folder listing. They can view content and metadata on the parent document, but not on any of the child documents. Document operations such as checkout or update may return errors.
