Processing worklists for IBM Content Manager
Depending on the complexity of your content system, you might have large amounts of IBM® Content Manager worklist that you have to manage. To help you process the worklists for Content Manager, you have various options to filter and sort.
To help you manage and process your IBM Content Manager worklists, you can leverage the following IBM Content Navigator features:
- Filtering a worklist by items that have a specific class assigned. When you select a class from
the Select Class drop-down menu, only those work items that contain documents
of the class that you select are shown.
When you select to show only the items in a specific class, the item properties shown are the properties of that class that can be displayed in a column, as well as the Priority and Owner properties. However, if the Item Type has a View defined (Subset), the column properties that are displayed will be from that view definition.
- The sort column is maintained when you refresh your view.
- Item totals are listed in the view.
- On a refresh, only the item you selected from your list is refreshed. The document actions that are refreshed include Check Out, Check In, Cancel Check Out and Properties.
- Work item responses are shown in the work item context menu. When available, the context menu for a work item shows a custom response.
