Installing the Edit Service for Mac OS

To enable Mac OS users to easily add files or edit files in the applications that are installed on their computers, install the Edit Service client on users' workstations.

About this task

The Mac Edit Service supports SAML SSO and Kerberos and SPNEGO SSO.

To install the Edit Service for Mac OS, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Download the ICNEditService.zip file and save it to a temporary directory on the workstation where IBM® Content Navigator is used.
  2. Double-click the ICNEditService.zip file to unpack it.
  3. Run the ICNEditClient.dmg file to run the installation program. The Edit Service folder contains the following files: License, Properties, and swidtag.
  4. Start the new Edit Service program.
