You can view the license type of the users of your Content Manager EE system. For some license
types, you can select usage statistics settings that determine how
frequently license information is collected.
For usage-based licenses only, Content Manager EE uses the IBM® System Dashboard for Enterprise
Content Management to collect usage
statistics in an XML file, product name_product
version_install path hash.slmtag.
This file is saved to the log directory. You can analyze this .slmtag
file with the IBM License Metric Tool.
- To configure a start time for the usage statistics collection,
select a time in the Start time field. The time is based on a 24-hour system, with 00:00 representing
midnight. Minutes are not configurable. The Start time field
defines one of the times in a 24-hour period when the usage statistics
collection process runs, regardless of the setting in the Frequency field.
The time that you select is the time on the library server, not the
time on the system administration client if your client is in a different
time zone than your server.
- To configure how frequently usage statistics are collected,
select a value in the Frequency field. The maximum frequency per day is once every five minutes. The
minimum frequency per day is once every 24 hours.
Tip: If
you select a value of minutes for the Frequency field,
such as a 5 minute frequency, the Start time field
is not available. The Start time field is available
only when the value in the Frequency field
is provided in hours.
