Deprecated and removed features
Occasionally, features in a previous version are replaced by features in a new version. Sometimes features that are no longer needed are removed from the new version. In both cases, it is important to take note of what to do when you upgrade to the new version.

| "Restricting the isolated region to only custom table spaces" - is deprecated from Content Platform Engine 5.2.1. | Without using the deprecated feature, you might still want a new application’s isolated
region database persistence and backup to be independent from other existing applications. In this
case, you can create a new object store with one Workflow System containing one isolated region.
The general pattern is - one application has one Object Store-Workflow System-isolated region. The database of one application is isolated from other applications. You can create multiple isolated regions in one Workflow System, but all isolated regions are backed up and restored together in this case. |
