System Dashboard Clusters view

Use this view to configure the Dashboard and specify the servers that you want to monitor.

You can define one or more clusters (collections of hosts) that you want to monitor in this view and save the cluster definitions for future use. You can also determine the schedule in which information is collected. You define how often (in seconds) and how much data (default is 500 values) is collected from the clusters you are monitoring in this view. Configure the Dashboard before you use the other views.

When you create a new cluster with multiple servers in the PCH Dashboard, it is recommended to add each server individually and save the configuration after every addition. This process reduces the risk of resource contention and can ensure smoother operation during setup. Adding multiple servers simultaneously can lead to performance issues because the system must update several shared resources at the same time. These resources include the screen interface and the network multiplexor, which manages application data streams from both existing and newly added servers.
