Content Engine .NET API

The .NET API (which is functionally equivalent to the Java API) provides a Microsoft .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR)-compliant API for accessing the full capability of Content Engine. The API accepts username and password credentials for authentication. The .NET API works only with the WSI Listener.

Installation

You can use the Content Platform Engine .NET API installer from the IBM®Content Cortex Content Platform Engine Java and .NET API package to install the Content Engine .NET API. The API files can be installed anywhere, including a non-Content Engine system.

The API files can be installed on any Windows operating system that is listed in the Software Products Compatibility report.
