Content Cortex administrator upgrade tasks

The Content Cortex administrator must carry out several tasks to prepare your environment for your Content Cortex upgrade.

Review all rows assigned to the Content Cortex Administrator (P8A) in the Installation and Upgrade Worksheet. While you complete the following preparation tasks, provide values for the rows that are appropriate to your installation.

Tip: With the Data > Filter > AutoFilter command enabled, as it is by default in the worksheet file (p8_worksheet.xls), perform the following actions to quickly see only the properties assigned to a particular role:
  • Click the AutoFilter drop-down arrow in the Role column header and select P8A.
  • Further filter the result set by clicking the AutoFilter drop-down arrow in any of the other columns and selecting a value or clear a filter by selecting All.
