Taking a Case Analyzer store offline

You can use the Take Offline action to stop a Case Analyzer store. Taking a Case Analyzer store offline enables you to perform a backup of a Case Analyzer store without stopping the Content Platform Engine.

About this task

The Take Offline option is not enabled if cube processing, event pruning, or region pruning is in progress. When the Case Analyzer store is offline, scheduled operations are not started nor any event processing performed for that Case Analyzer store.

Procedure

To stop a Case Analyzer store, do the following from Case Analyzer Process Task Manager:

  1. From the navigation pane, select and right-click a Case Analyzer store.
  2. Click Take Offline.

What to do next

After you back up the Case Analyzer store, you can restart the offline Case Analyzer store with the Bring Online option.
