About this task
When business rules are used in a workflow, you can assign
appropriate rule sets to a system step.
To specify rules for
a system step
Procedure
- Select the appropriate system step, then select the Rules tab in the Properties pane.
- On the Rules tab, specify the Type, when the rule will
execute at runtime.
- Before Execution - The specified
rule set will execute before the step is enqueued.
- After Completion - The specified
rule set will execute after the step is completed.
- On the Rule Sets bar, click Add.
- Select the rule sets from the Available Rule Sets list,
then move them to the Selected Rule Sets list.
Use the up and down arrows as necessary to re-order the list, specifying
the order of execution.
