Installing a search function

Install search functions to find information about your storage areas.

About this task

Before you use them to get information about your storage areas, you need to add the search functions you want to use to the object store.

Do the following for each search function you want to add.

Procedure

  1. In the administration console for IBM®Content Cortex Content Engine, navigate to object store > Events, Actions, Processes > Search Function Definitions.
  2. Select New.
  3. Enter the function name as the Display Name, then click Next.
  4. In the Java class handler path field, enter the class path.
    Retain the default values in the other fields.

  5. Click Next and then click Finish.
