Mismatched outbound properties

Property updates are not federated to Content Platform Engine if FileNet® Image Services updates an outbound property.

Symptoms

If an outbound property is updated by FileNet Image Services, any subsequent update from Content Platform Engine results in a 90,6,54 error because the property value on FileNet Image Services and Content Platform Engine is mismatched.

Causes

If a property is mapped on Content Platform Engine as outbound only, updates from FileNet Image Services cannot be federated to that property on Content Platform Engine because those transactions are considered inbound.

Resolving the problem

To correct this error:
  1. If appropriate, change the property mapping on Content Platform Engine from Outbound to Both.
  2. In FileNet Image Services, re-export the document for which the error was returned.
