Create and configure the data source

To create the work queues and database fields:

1. Create the following work queues:
   • Notify
   • PackShip

   For more information, see Creating work queues.

2. Create the following database fields for the default event log:
   • Amount (Integer)
   • Location (String 10)
   • CustomerID (Integer)

   These fields are to be used in the example workflow and ultimately monitored by using IBM® Cognos® Real-time Monitoring Dashboard. For information about creating these fields, see Managing user database fields.
