Using a name resolution service server

If you use a name resolution service such as Domain Name Service (DNS) or Network Information Service (NIS), add an alias entry that includes the four-part NCH service name for the FileNet® Image Services Root/Index server.

Procedure

To specify an alias:

Specify an alias name that includes the four-part NCH service name for the FileNet Image Services Root/Index server.

For example, if the FileNet Image Services domain name is AccountsPayable:ExampleCo and the Root/Index server name is senna, add the following alias to the entry for the senna server:

 Alias name = accountspayable-exampleco-nch-server
