nslookup tool
The nslookup command is an operating system tool that verifies that the domain controller is able to resolve FileNet® Image Services server names and NCH_service names.
nslookup IS_server_name
nslookup four-part_NCH_service_name
- IS_server_name is the name of the FileNet Image Services Root/Index server, such as leonardo.
- four-part_NCH_service_name is the four-part NCH domain name of the FileNet Image Services server, such as davinci-exampleco-nch-server.
For example, run the following
command:
nslookup leonardo
nslookup davinci-exampleco-nch-serverThe nslookup command returns the IP address of the FileNet Image Services server.
