Updating synonyms for a server

Configure synonyms for a new IBM® Content Search Services server or reconfigure synonyms for all servers as needed.

Procedure

To update the synonyms for a server:

  1. Edit your synonym input file to add, change, or remove synonyms.
  2. Start the server. Start the server if the server is not already started.
  3. Use the following command-line syntax to run the synonym tool: 
    	synonymTool importSynonym -configPath path -synonymFile file-name -language code -replace true
