About this task
To create a workflow definition that inherits maps and
other items defined in another workflow definition, you select a previously
defined workflow definition as the base workflow.
Procedure
- If necessary, from the Action menu,
select Workflow Properties, and display
the General tab.
In Base Workflow,
click Modify.
- In the Select Base Workflow dialog box, select the workflow
definition that contains the submaps and other items that will be
the base for the current workflow.
CaseWorkObject and WPSCaseWorkObject
work classes are intended for use by IBM® Case
Manager workflows.
TIP The list contains only workflow definitions
that have been transferred to workflow system in this isolated region.
Results
Note that the main map of the base workflow definition
is overwritten by the main map of the current workflow definition.
Submaps that are present in the base workflow definition are read
only in the current workflow definition.
