Properties of component steps

A component step provides processing by operations defined in an external subsystem. The Properties pane displays the following properties for the selected component step.

Property	Description
Step tab	The current state of the work items at the selected step. See the section on symbols used in the Process Tracker for a description of the icons used.
Name	The name of the step. To display the properties of a different step, select it from the list. A symbol indicates steps that are in progress.
Occurrence	A number indicating which instance of execution for this step.
Description	Information about the step provided by the author of the workflow.

Use the tabs in the center of the Properties pane to view and edit specific areas.

In the tab...	you can...
Parameters	Display the names of operations defined for this step and the operation parameters.
Routing	Display the incoming and outgoing routing and conditions for the current step. You cannot modify this information.
Rules	Display the type of execution of any rule sets (Before Execution or After Completion), and the names of the rule sets.
