Save work-in-progress

You can save work-in-progress to work on it later. This saves your changes but does not route the work to the next step in the workflow. It also unlocks the work item.

To save your work

On the work item page, click Save.

If you opened the work item from your workflow Inbox or from an email message, the saved work item will be in your workflow Inbox. Tracker items will be in your Tracker folder.

If you opened the work item from a work queue, specify if you want to move it to your Inbox.

• Click Yes to save your changes and move the work item to your Inbox. If you later decide not to work on the work item, you can return it to the work queue.
• Click No to save your changes and leave the work item in the work queue.
