Create, add, or modify security policies and templates in IBM® Content Cortex Platform.

Create a security policy

After you create a security policy, you can modify information about the policy, such as the name and permissions.

Procedure

To create a security policy:

Start the Security Policy wizard in the administration console:
  1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
  2. In the object store navigation pane, right-click the Administrative > Security Policies folder and click New Security Policy.

Add a security template

Procedure

To add a security template to an existing security policy:

  1. From the Content Platform Engine administration console:
    1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, click the Administrative > Security Policies folder.
  2. Select the security policy to which you want to add a security template and click Security Templates.
  3. Click Add.

Modify a security template

Procedure

To modify an existing security template:

  1. From the Content Platform Engine administration console:
    1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, click the Administrative > Security Policies folder.
  2. Select the security policy that contains the security template you want to modify.
  3. Click the Security Template tab, and then click Edit.
  4. Modify the settings for the security template.
