Create a lifecycle policy

Use the Create a Lifecycle Policy wizard to define the valid states and actions for a document or document class.

Procedure

To create a lifecycle policy:

  1. Start the New Document Lifecycle Policy wizard in the administration console:
    1. In the domain navigation pane, select the object store.
    2. In the object store navigation pane, select the Event, Actions, Processes > Document Lifecycle Policies folder.
    3. Click New.
  2. Complete the New Document Lifecycle Policy wizard.
  3. Assign the lifecycle policy to a document class.
