Using Content Assistant add-on features

When the IBM® Content Assistant plug-in is enabled, Navigator Core Agent provides enhanced AI capabilities through two specialized interaction modes: Ask Your Repository mode and Content Assistant mode.

IBM Content Assistant is an optional add-on product that extends Navigator Core Agent with advanced AI-powered capabilities for working with your content. When enabled, it provides two distinct interaction modes for different use cases. For detailed information about IBM Content Assistant features and capabilities, see:

Ask Your Repository mode

Provides conversational access to your content repository with semantic search capabilities. Use this mode to query documents across your repository using natural language and get AI-powered answers based on document content and meaning, not just keywords. Access this mode through Navigator Core Agent.

Content Assistant mode

Provides AI-powered assistance for working with documents in the workspace. Use this mode to analyze documents, get summaries and insights, and receive help with document-related tasks based on workspace context. Access this mode through Navigator Core Agent from within workspaces.

Both interaction modes require the IBM Content Assistant plug-in to be installed and configured in your environment.
