Content Cortex templates

All of the templates that you can use are provided in the ibm-content-cortex-containers repository. Custom resource template files for full customization of each component are also provided.

Two types of template are provided for production deployments. Simplified templates are used by the deployment script, the OpenShift® console OperatorHub, and Helm deployments to generate a custom resource file. Fully customizable templates can be used to refer to the default values and to copy and paste parameters into your final custom resource file or the Content Cortex deployment editor.

Simplified custom resource template (ibm_content_cr_production.yaml file)

These templates do not include advanced configuration sections. The operator uses the default values for many required parameters. You need to provide values for some parameters that are marked as <Required> depending on the options that you choose. The default values are available in the fully customizable custom resource templates.

Fully customizable custom resource template (ibm_content_cr_production_FC_content.yaml file)

These templates do include the component-level configuration sections with default values for all of the parameters. These values are the values that are used in the simplified templates.

The following tables show the Content Cortex and Content Cortex AI Services templates in the ibm-content-cortex-containers/descriptors resource folder.
