Creating an Upgrade Add-on
An UpgradeAddOn object is the vehicle that is used to move a superseded add-on to its current, upwardly compatible version.
Retrieving Registered Add-ons
AddOn objects that are registered in a domain's Global Configuration Database (GCD) can be retrieved.
Installing an Add-on
After an AddOn or UpgradeAddOn object is registered in a domain Global Configuration Database (GCD), it can be installed to a new or existing object store.
Checking for Superseded Add-ons
An application can determine whether an add-on has been superseded by a newer version in the domain, and, if so, whether the newer version has been installed in the object store.
Retrieving Add-on Installation Records
Add-on installation records for all of the add-ons and upgrade add-ons that are installed on an object store can be retrieved.
Deleting an Add-on
UpgradeAddOn and AddOn objects can be deleted from a domain's Global Configuration Database (GCD).
