Add annotation association

About this task

You can add an association (line) to connect an annotation with any step or route in a workflow map.

TIP It is not necessary to connect an annotation box with a step or route.

To associate a text annotation with a step or route

Procedure

  1. Point to the edge of the annotation box and drag an association to the target step or route.
  2. In the Properties pane, specify a name for the association. (Optional)

NOTES

  • You can show or hide all the annotations and associations on the map using the Show/Hide Text Annotations icon in the status bar, or by selecting the option in Display Preferences.
