Problem: Low CPU consumption

CPU consumption is low and yet a backlog of index requests exists in the index request queue.

Possible cause	Troubleshooting strategy
The number of preprocessing threads or indexing threads for index servers is set too low.	Monitor the input and output queues of index servers to determine the optimal number of threads. For more information, see Troubleshooting queues.
The work capacity for IBM® Content Search Services or Content Platform Engine is set too low.	Monitor your system with the system dashboard to determine whether work capacity can be increased. For more information, see Indexing work capacity.
