Create a marking set
Creating a marking set and applying it to a class of objects is a multi-step procedure.

Procedure
To create a marking set:
- As a global configuration database administrator, start the New Marking Set wizard in the
administration console. In the domain navigation pane on the left, select .
- Right-click Marking Sets and click New Marking Set.
- Specify the Display Name for the marking set and click Next.
- Add one or more marking values to the marking set by specifying marking value name and by selecting the applicable access permissions for each marking value and click OK.
- You can reorder marking values in the marking set by clicking Move up or Move Down.
- Complete the wizard by clicking Finish to create the marking set.
- Once completed, click the newly created Marking set and select the Markings tab to edit
the access permissions for the marking set. You can also insert new marking values anywhere within the list.
- Create a property template.
- Assign the property template to a class.
- Create an object based on the class.
- Set the markings on the object.
