Configuring the object store to log events

To log events for the objects that belong to classes that are configured for auditing, enable auditing at the object store level.

About this task

Enabling auditing for an object store allows tracking and recording changes to the objects within it. By configuring auditing at the object store level, you can ensure that all relevant events are logged and can be reviewed later. The process involves accessing the object store properties in the administration console and enable auditing.

To configure the object store to log events:

1. Access the object store properties in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, click the object store.
   2. In the object store navigation pane, click the name of the object store (the top-level item).
2. On the General tab, select the Enable auditing checkbox to enable auditing for the object store.
