Modify the security of an object

You can use the administration console to modify the security of an object like a document or folder.

About this task

Important: If the access settings for a document or object include an expired or invalid Security ID (SID), you cannot update the access settings until you remove the expired or invalid SID. For more information on removing invalid SIDs, see Removing invalid security IDs.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Administration Console for Content Platform Engine as an object store administrator (object_store_admin).
  2. Navigate to the object and select its Security tab.
  3. Use the security editor to add or remove users or groups and to set their security.
  4. Click OK when you are done.
