recordEvent Member Function
Enables the application to increase the counter value for an Event object. The getCount function can be called to obtain the current value of the Event object counter.
Syntax
void recordEvent([optional] unsigned
int value);
Parameters
- value
- [in] Optional unsigned int (default is 1) that specifies the amount by which to increase the value of the Event object counter. When no value is specified, the counter is automatically incremented by one.

Container *store = listener->lookupContainer("storeName");
Event *creations = store->lookupEvent("document creations");
creations->recordEvent(10);
